You want someone from the general public help you win disability so we can all help pay for you forever?

You're the one getting the bennies, you pay for a lawyer. Also consider doing something to help your physical condition instead of going right to the disability bank. I have high blood pressure, couple stents in my heart, overweight, used to smoke and like my beer. I also am working and not on disability.

I wasn't going to answer this, but I just had to. I agree with Ret. Sgt. I have high blood pressure, diabetes, low back pain, open heart surgery (had my mitral valve replaced), and several other issues and I am 41, however, I work everyday and push through all of it, exercise, try to control my diet, etc. To me someone who is really disabled cannot function in activities of daily living. Physical therapy will definitely help with your back pain/swelling and tingling. Pain management programs will also help. Talk with your physician about pain management and physical therapy. If you sit or lie around because of back pain and swelling, you are only making your back worse. Staying active is the key to help with back pain and use medication also if you have to. High blood pressure and bad headaches is no reason for disability. Sorry, I just disagree, nothing personal towards you, I just disagree that the above you stated is a good excuse for disability.

I'm not sure what department of disability you are appling for?
If it's SSD You can only apply for 100%,
you don't need a lawyer they will just take your money and they have to go by the Socail Securities regulations. They can't get you any more money than you deserve under law. They just make you think they can. You will need to get copies of all your medical records, doctor visits, hospital or emergency room visits. Your doctor or doctors will have give you a 100% disability rating for what ever your disability is.
You need to complain more and explain that you can do absolutly nothing because of your medical situation.

They will ask you trick questions to get a medical profile on you, such as " hi, how are you feeling today"? So hows it going ? Never, ever say fine or OK or good to any one. Thats the normal responce to a greeting question. Always, always say not so good.

Other trick questions are, what do you do at home? can you drive a car? can you wash dishes? what do you do in your spare time? how far can you walk? how much can you lift? How long can you sit? Always give negative answers to doctors and hearing officers.

You will need to present all of your medical records to SSD.
Make sure they are not high lighted or marked on. If they are you can not present them as evidence in your case.

You must also get a read out of medications you are taking. Your pharmacy will give you one free of charge and present that also as evidence. Make sure you have three full copies of everything. Also any signed statements from friends or relatives that have seen your disabling effects.

I have won six cases by my self with no lawyers.
If it's workmens comp then you can get a percentage rating from 10% to 100% and the process is the same. You can get a workmens comp book free of charge that will walk you through the process. Remember the minute you say I'm fine or OK, in their eyes your not disabled. The most important factor is to get your doctor to permanetly disable you for any gain full employment part time or full time. You need to cry alot.

Sincerely yours,

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.
