In the US, it's coronary heart disease. Factors that contribute to it are hypertension, diabetes, and heart failure is one of the outcomes of it.

it usually depends on the results of the studies in each country... but, generally, i think the number one killer is represented by the group of cardiovascular diseases (miocardial infarction, strokes etc). Cancer comes second in list, usually (men with pulmonary cancer and women with breast cancer).

No, but i now someone who is. What causes severe allergies to food is the esophagus itself. sometimes it doesn't tolerate foods, so the throat swells.
