My whole life I've been unable to adapt to cold weather. It's frightening because even in 50 degree (Fahrenheit) weather I can get chattering teeth and shake convulsively while people wear light jackets. I have to wear 2 layers of everything in the winter, including arm/ leg warmers. If I don't, my heart races waay too fast and I have trouble getting it to slow down until I can get inside a warm room. The first indicator being any one of my appendages goes frost-cold first (usually a toe or a whole foot). That process happens dramatically fast so I have to be quick about bringing my body temp. up.

I don't have any ailments to speak of, just wondering if there's anyone else out there that experiences this.

It might be Raynaud's disease -- try Googling this and see if any of the symptoms sound familiar -- and ask your doctor.

What you have would be medically explained as Anemia. You best bet would be to either consider a B12 patch or iron pills which will boost your immune system up which will generally keep your body temperature on a regulated base. You can also check on www.webmd.com for more information on Anemia.
I have protein deficiency S and I had a problem with regulating my body temperature so the doctor suggested that I start taking iron pills. And it help immensely. It is treatable and you can control. I wish you luck with it.
