Hi, i have been having issues with my stomache and i have gone to the docotor and had an upper GI scan done. It came back normal and the doctor told me i just need to cut back on the greasy foods and soda. I have and my stomache still continues to bother me. Especialy when there isn't anything in my stomach. When it bothers me i can sometimes feel a lump where my stomach and and it feels like its full of gas or somethin, it also seems to be sensative when i touch it. (But just when it is bothering me). Does this sound like gastridious to you?

gastritis is a very identifiable inflammation of the digestive tract. If you have indeed had the testing you mentioned, then no you don't have it or the doctor would have spotted it easily and treated you for it. He is also right about your need to cut back on fats in your diet. The ingestion of fat leads to the over production of bile, and too much bile in your digestive tract will indeed cause all your symptoms.

Gastritis just means inflammation of the stomach. This can produce nausea, vomiting, heartburn, general malaise (not feeling well), and sometimes a fever.
It's not usually sensitive to touch. Gall bladder inflammation is, though and can produce severe pain. But usually gall bladders don't crap out until the patient is beyond 40. Nevertheless, it's been known to happen. An x-ray will show if your gall bladder is full of stones.
In the meantime, try chewing some papaya enzyme tablets with meals. These are an aid to digestion. If they work, it's a very cheap solution.
