How much sweating would you have to do at night to be worried about night sweats? I just got diagnosed with a infection from my doctor. I'm not sweating profusely and it's only my underarms and feet that are sweating. My hands are kinda clammy, thats it though. I do think I am a Hypochondriac. I for some reason keep thinking I have Leukemia but my parents, aunt(a nurse) and doctor all laughed at me. I started taking my antibiotics a day and half ago and nothing seems improved yet. I have one swollen lymph node on the right side of my neck(not both). My spleen felt good until I read about it being a syndrome, now I think my mind is making it have a pain every now and again. I also am worried cause I don't have a fever. I haven't lost weight or anything either. I haven't been sick lately at all. I don't have any lumps under my arms. I have had chills, nausea, and on and off headache. But those have been scarce since I started my medicine.
Sorry for rambling
Should I be worried?

I was fired after suffering from a medical condition, from which resolved and I had been cleared to return from my physician. My employers physician never saw me, nor had he ever talked to my physician. I'm a little confused and concerned with how he claims to be able to make a decision regarding someones life without ever seeing or speaking to them.

I am just getting over a cold, and my ear is in a great deal of pain. It feels as if there is water stuck in it, and I was wondering whether I should lay on that side so the fluid may drain. Is it safe to use a heating pad on low to loosen it up? I took decongestant medicine already.

Okay, if there is a doctor on here and happens to read this. Please tell me if I should go get checked out for this. I just found out from my grandmother on my father's side that all the women on that side of my family has had this and do have this. which means my grandmother and my aunts all had this, and got it removed. well got something that removed their uterus. and both my cousins on my fathers side have this. and I am just now finding out about this and am curious if I may too have this? Should I go get checked out to make sure? what are some symptoms of this? what does it look like? How would I know if I do have it or if I should go to the doctor? Please help me as it is not worrying me too much. I am just curious.

I don't often ask questions, in fact, I've never asked a question. But I need help! On February 3, I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre. I've had it since then, and been in a wheel-chair and using a walker. I was really lucky, and didn't have to go on a ventilator at any time. I'm out of hospital now, but am still doing physical therapy, aquatic therapy, etc. I need help, sympathy, anything!

I've noticed this over the last few months - very strange.

There are no other apparent symptoms, just a throbbing or sometimes dull ache in my right big toe.

Once i cut sugary foods from my diet (my fave being toffee popcorn) the discomfort goes after 2 or 3 days.

Anyone ever experience this?

long story but I'll tell it shortly:
I've got per total 2 piercings in my ears(in both) and I want to make another one in one ear. I convinced my mom, but when I was ready to go, she said that I can make leucemia(cooool...O.o)
I just can't find an answer on medical sites. help?
and don't ask me why I want a piecing, cuz I'll tell you all my theory about why I don't want to die in a perfect shape (and it's long)

I wonder if someone sais I can't ;;)

I am 24 years old. I've been dealing with multiple symptoms most of my life. I think I know what disease(s) I have, but so many diseases have the same symptoms. Here is my history:

Age 3: Earaches

9-24: Every few years, I've had to adjust my sleeping pillow. At age 9, I had to sleep on 2 pillows to stop nausea. About age 17, I needed 3. Now, I literally sleep sitting up.

17-24: About 3 months before my 18th birthday, nausea starting hitting me hard. It got worse everday for 3 weeks. Then, once a week. Then, every few months. Now, it gets worse everday, but I can control it quite well since I'm used to it.

17: I stopped drinking soda because it hurts my stomach. Even a sip will burn it for 30 minutes.

22-24: I have unstoppable migraines that are only cut in half by migraine medicine.

22-24 I'm sure Ihave P.A.D. and R.L.S. I'm also constantly tired and lightheaded even though I get 9-12 hours sleep per day.

23-24: I have to eat light or I may vomit

Because she is unable to walk and feed herself. The DR decided to withold food, medicine, she is diabetic and had a stroke. and water.. WE friends asked her, are you thirsty, she said,.. "Yes, I am awful thirsty"
we ask, are you comfortable.. she says
I am UNCOMFORTABLE!!"
WE asked are you in pain? She says
yes.. she has brain activity...
I understand she is dying... But the dr.
decided she would have no quality, so stopped food, water and treatment..
she is ONLY 60...
This way of killing is awful.... But they do it all the time I am learning...
There has to be a better way....
seems cruel not only to Glennis, but to

I have been feeling badly lately. Often very tired. Feet/ankles sometimes swell. B/P slightly elevated. 3 wks ago I got dizzy and felt tight chest. I ended up over night in the ER. Passed all the cardiac tests (blood, ekg, x-ray, stress) but was so tired. It happened again this weekend, I woke up at 4.30 feeling bad. My blood pressure (based on mom's machine) was 177/100. So off to ER again. Nothing.
I have no insurance so all of this plus follow ups I've been told to have with various docs is stressing me even more!
I'm a 50 yo female, no gallbladder (that went last year), and no health issues except overweight.
What I should ask my doc to check?

I took at the the prescribed time this morning and my boss ended up having to drive me home. Has anyone else ever had such side effects? Should I take this medicine at night instead? It was kind of scary but I don't want to give up without knowing the facts. Thanks!

I donated blood back in November and I found out that I had O+ blood. Ever since I could donate again the blood bank has been calling me every 2 weeks begging me to donate again. It's not that I don't want to donate I don't have time and I just started taking dance lessons so I can't avoid not training. Plus the blood bank is a 30 mile drive from where I live. How do I reason with the blood bank? This weekend the lady on the phone really started to get desparate. She said a 9 year old with Sickle Cell Anemia relaly needs my blood.

I'm 19yrs. old and my doctor just put me on 5mg BuSpar for social anxiety/severe panic attacks(like the dizzy almost fainting kind).I told my doctor that I wanted something I could take right when they happen or when I start to feel stressed because I did not want something that I would have to depend on everyday and would have to be taking for along time to feel the effects. I had mentioned Valium since I know these worked tremendosly for me and I wasn't addicted to them at all since I would only take one about a week. But she suggested trying to BuSpar first. She also said that I could just take the BuSpar when I'm feeling stressed or when the panic attacks start. And that I didn't have to take them everyday all the time just only when needed. What I'm wondering or you could say worrying about is when I researched BuSpar all I found were bad reviews and everyone said that this medication takes at least a week or so to even start doing anything. So any info on this would help. Thanks! :-)
