I have it too! Really annoying. One research group is actually looking into botox shots to reduce the ringing. In another study, a scientist found that low tones played in the background knocked out the effect.

sadly there is no cure for it since the medical field isn't really sure of what the cause is.
I get it often and I've found that shutting my ears or drinking fluid makes it better.

You aren't a Veteran are you? If you are you should look into getting tested for hearing loss or damage because you can receive benefits for it. Like free health insurance for life, prescriptions, and monetary compensation
