Does anyone know of something that can help control or minimize stuttering?.....anyone know of someone who got rid of it completely? Treatments, therapy?

I come from a family of stutterers. Several uncles and cousins found help through The Stuttering Foundation and their book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer." All of them worked through the book step by step over and over and with practice all of them overcame their stuttering with the exception of times of extreme stress. One uncle also went to a speech therapist who specialized in treating stuttering at the same time he worked through the book. The Foundation's book is only a couple dollars, and their web site has a list of referrals in all states for speech therapists.

i stutter slightly. i heard that hypnosis works. but before you do that you must believe in it. so read about it and you must find a good professional hypnotist. i hope it will help.
