Ok so my son's father has dyslexia and it is not a mild case it is a severe case of it. So I was wondering my son isnt old enough just yet to tell if he will have dyslexia (he's only 9 months old) but I was wondering if it is genetic and if it can be improved?

i battle with menopause.i am 55 and had a hysterectomy in 1998. i do have my ovaries. but i get a hot flush every hour almost on the hour day and night. i wake up every hour due to this. i go red in the face and neck and my ears glow like a heater has gone on inside me. i do not want to take hrt. what herbal medication works well. i have an underactive thyroid and takes 75mg thyroxene daily. i also use 5htp 100 mg daily for anxiety, insomnia, moodswings, depression.

I am on xanax for anxiety. Tonight I have a sever flu. Can I mix xanax with Nightquil that has a sleep aid in it? Will it compound the affect? Thanks!

I have been eating Chicken soup since Monday cuz that's when I started to feel like not good. And I also have been eating a lot of Oranges as well and also getting a lot of rest. But I really need to get over this cold before the Weekend any advice would be really cool. Thanks in advance! :-)

The nurse tried to tell me his skull and eyes were sunken in from the disease. I have learned different, and when he was in the hospital they told me it was from dehydration. Anyone know anything about it? This isn't a very good nursing home at all!

My friend, I won't mention names, has a condition that I just found out about. When she goes to stretch she holds her breath uncontrolably, then she passes out and wakes up on the floor or something. In other respects she's a healthy girl, but I would like to know if anyone out there has a name for this condition.

i have been diagnosed with TMJ. My biggest symptom is face and ear pain. My question is ever since this started 9 months ago i have been to a lot of doctors and i have sinus problems and it feels like something is stuck in my throat all of the time and some times diffaculty swallowing. like I said I have been to ear nose and throat doctors. and nobody has found anything wrong . But I know the symptoms in my throat are there. So could this be a symptom of tmj, the sinus and throat area.

I suffer from bulimia-I am not proud to say. There are many times where I stuff myself silly with fatty food and then go back and induce vomiting. At first she started saying her tummy hurt at dinner time. we would tell her the foods done and she would say my tummy hurts. we all thought it was just so she didnt have to eat. shes not much of a big eater when sshe gets playing. But shes has been saying her tummy hurts a lot more and its not just around dinner time. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong??Should I get her a doctors appointment? I really dont know if shes just saying it or if her stomach really does hurt.

since the first time i took the tylenol i have been feeling sort of nauseous and have had a lot of random pains like in my arms and an almost constant head ache which is why i took more i still feel the same and just realised that you can get poisoned from taking too much.

i am 125 pounds i took

5 tylenol 8 hour thats 3,250mg of acetaminophen on monday

2 tylenol 8 hour / 1,300mg of acetaminophen on wednesday

3 tylenol 8 hour / 1,950mg of acetaminophen on thursday

3 extra strength tylenol / 1,500mg of acetaminophen and
1 tylenol 8 hour / 650mg of acetaminophen
total 2,150mg of acetaminophen on sunday

did i poison myself? how can i be sure before going to the doctors? what should i do?

Let's start with vocabulary (hyperopia= farsightedness and myopia=nearsightedness).

I was slightly curious when I found out that my right eye is myopia and my left is hyperopia (it really irritates my eyes). I wear glasses so, that's not a problem. But, my main question is is this common? Having two different eye types at age 13? Or, will it even out as I get older? Because, from my eye-test results, they seem to be worsening everytime I go to get an eye exam, so, I was wondering if this is something that will become progressively worse, or, will become progressively better?
