My sinuses are killing me - it goes from moderate to extreme pain above my eyes, around my nose, below my ears.

Besides the sinus area, the top of my head also hurts, I have a stuffy and runny nose, it hurts my eyes to focus too much, i feel dizzy, and a bit nauseus - vomited yesterday.

i assume it is a sinus infection, but i keep taking nasal sprays, decongestants, pain relievers, and steam (vapor machine) and it only relieves the pain slightly - it comes back after an hour, and even during that hour, it only allievates one area - i still feel sick.

what is it and what are some quick home remedies? i have an appointment this evening but i wanted your thoughts and help. thank you so much.

I take depakote er for epilepsy. . .i missed taking my meds for nearly two weeks. Should i talk to my doctor before restarting them or should i go ahead and start taking them again. I have missed before but not like this. Would it be bad for me to go ahead and take them full tilt again. . .or will there be bad side affects. I am scared to start them again but I know I need to be taking them. . .i just don't want to have any recurring siezures. And I am tired of gaining weight. . .i lost 16lbs. . .and am still losing. . .i want to be a healthy weight again. Half the problem was my medication. If I stop taking the meds I could have siezures again. . .if start them after not taking them could I have even bigger problems. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gets hiccups at least once a day, usually more. I know what causes hiccups in general... so don't explain to me what causes hiccups... but is there a reason I get them so much more often than anyone else? I mean this is getting absurd. It's been going on for years, & they usually last quite a while.

I have been having slight discomfort in my lower back and also towards my appendix area. I can feel two lumps in my urethrea, believe they might be stones trying to pass but they have been sitting there for a week now. At times a stitch when I pass water but not regularly. Any ideas/suggestions?

I'm really worried about my boyfriend, he said that at 5am yesterday 5am he started coughing up blood and throwing up, and that later at school he fainted. He's also got depression and he was really down, I was hoping there was someone here who could tell me what might be wrong with him. I keep telling him to see a doctor but he said it was just a coughing fit.

I'm really worried, any idea if he's got some kind of illness?

I was diagnosed with H. Pylori on Saturday - the doctor gave me enough antibiotics and omeprazole to get through to today, and prescriptions until today. When I went to fill the prescriptions, the pharmacist said I could just take Prolosec OTC instead of the prescription omeprazole. I see it's the same medication, but the OTC has magnesium in it, and says to only take in once a day, where I've been instructed to take it twice a day. The pharmacist said that was fine - I tried to get ahold of my doctor and ask, but he has gone on vacation! Anyone know??

For the past 6 months or so I've had stomach pains in my lower right, and upper left sides of my stomach. I've had recurring sore throats when I wake up and then they go away by 12 or 1 o'clock that afternoon. I have a red rash on my cheeks. I don't have a fever, but that's not saying that much because I never have a fever. Never had a fever when I had any illness. Sometimes I would get really really high fevers randomly, like urgent care needed fevers, i think the highest was about 106 or 107. I"ve had 2 blood tests and 2 sonograms. nothing came up in either of those. My cholesterol was a little elevated but I think that's just because of my diet. (Since August of 2004 I've been a vegeterian) And it seems that I'm always bloated. I'm really sick of my doctor because he's always just saying to go home and rest and I'll get better. Can someone please help me???? Serious answers only.

For ten days I've had pain right around my solar plexis like someone is stabbing me and twisting the knife. I thought it could be hiatal hernia but I don't have any other symptoms listed for "GERD". No indigestion or "burning" or coughing or burping. What else could it be stabbing my solar plexis? Maybe ulcer? Please give me a big list of ailments to research! thanks,

I've posted before but new symptoms keep popping up and hoping someone here may know something similar to what I have. I'm 30 and in ok shape and been experiencing chest pains/heart flutters since November on a regular basis, with no real patterns. I've had two EKGs, a heart holter, a treadmill chest and x-ray. All shown I am normal.

SO..... I am seeking a different approach than it being my heart since cardiologists tell me I'm fine (but I don't feel fine!). I have found belching/burping seems to make me feel better at times and in cases can rid me of the pain. I thought about it being panic attacks, but this seems to hit me even at my calmest. I don't seem to have much if any acid reflux bile coming back. So I'm not sure what's up. Any ideas? The doctors don't seem to be much of a help and while I exercise and eat well, I am trying to find comfort in this weird mess!

Can you recommend any other procedure to get rid of this ailment that is effecting their home life and career; has them clutching their throats in pain all the time!
Do you know any operations that will help? Would getting the tonsils removed be a start?
People in medical careers or people only in the know only please

Does anyone know why a doctor would choose open rather than laproscopic surgery to remove a gall bladder?

Does obesity make it more difficult to perform laproscopically or is it the size and/or inflammation of the gall bladder?

Thanks.

No matter how tired, wasted or high I am, I never get dark circles or bags under my eyes. Instead, my eyes just look smaller. How come some people get them and some don't?
