i have these pains in the left side of my stomach for 3days now....it's like someone is paking me with a needle every now and again, is it something to tell a Dr. about?

I would talk to my doctor. It is probably nothing and can be resolved with a little medicine but there is always a chance that something could be wrong. Especially since this pain is prolonged you should see the doctor.

Pain, any kind of pain is not normal and it is your bodies way of telling you something isn't right. Whether or not you call the Dr. on this one is up to you. Are you nauseous, cramping, constipated? Without knowing more the best I can say is call if it's interrupting your ability to function then you should call the doc.
