For the past 6 months or so I've had stomach pains in my lower right, and upper left sides of my stomach. I've had recurring sore throats when I wake up and then they go away by 12 or 1 o'clock that afternoon. I have a red rash on my cheeks. I don't have a fever, but that's not saying that much because I never have a fever. Never had a fever when I had any illness. Sometimes I would get really really high fevers randomly, like urgent care needed fevers, i think the highest was about 106 or 107. I"ve had 2 blood tests and 2 sonograms. nothing came up in either of those. My cholesterol was a little elevated but I think that's just because of my diet. (Since August of 2004 I've been a vegeterian) And it seems that I'm always bloated. I'm really sick of my doctor because he's always just saying to go home and rest and I'll get better. Can someone please help me???? Serious answers only.

I occasionally have a head ache and my eyes can be really sensitive to light. I just got over blephoritis and my eyes can become sore and tired. I wear contacts but I also have glasses

It's not really a rash, my face is just flushed a medium red.

Also sometimes I'm cold so I'll put on a sweater and then like 4 minutes later I'll be sweating. I'll go through this all day. But only some days.

Sometimes the pain in my stomach is almost crippling. I can barely walk sometimes, that's how bad it gets.

Are you looking for diagnosis or for symptom relief advice? Some of what you describe sounds like GERD. The sore throat and stomach pain...

Upper left side of your stomach is your actual stomach. (People refer to their whole abdomen as the "stomach" somethimes). Lower right, hmm...

I would look into GERD, hiatal hernia, and ulcer. There's one kind of ulcer at the bottom of the stomach...

I'm not a doctor. Good luck.

First, find a new doctor--a specialist. Gastroenterologist to begin with, and also get a psychological evaluation, ENT would help diagnose your sore throat, Perhaps a dermatologist for your rash. If you are having fevers over 101-102, that is an emergency situation. Then, start keeping a log. List everything you eat, the time, and your reaction to it. Also include your emotions. What makes you anxious. Be complete. Where you and why, what was going on? How did you feel at the time? Happy, sad, panicky. Include any medications you are taking. I don't know where you live or how old you are, but there are cutting edge medical facilities all over the place: St. Judes in CA, Mayo Clinic in MN, Mass General in Boston (I think), University of Chicago Hospitals. But, whatever, keep that log. It will save time and give the doctors a more complete record of your condition.

In the interim--try using a humidifier. That might help your sore throat. Get a non-allergenic pillow/pillow case and use moisturizer. Use as many hypo-allergenic products as you can. They won't hurt, and may help.

I think you definitely need to see another doctor. The doctor you are seeing doesn't seem to take you seriously. I would look into seeing a new doctor. Maybe you are allergic to something and that is why you get recurring sore throats. Allergies can cause all kinds of symptoms, I have had sore throats, ear aches, my teeth have hurt, hives (rashes), nausea, dizziness, etc.....ANYTHING can be caused by them. Also for the bloating which I have can be IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) or maybe you are lactose intolerant? Either way I would look for a new general doctor to start with. You could try webmd.com or check with your local hospital on who is good to see. Good luck

GERD and hiatal hernias are not common in 13 year old girls. Ulcer is a possibility.

I would suggest you have someone take a good quality photograph of your facial rash, or go to a doctor when your rash is obvious. This may be key to a diagnosis.

Sounds as though you need a second opinion from a different doctor, one who will listen and who will examine you carefully.

Hi Jenn,

It sounds like a few things are going on with you. I am not a doctor but can tell buy the sounds of it that you need to see someone else who is going to take your personal heath matters more seriously this this guy your seeing now.

What I'm about to say may come across the wrong way, but it is not ment that way so bear with me. It sounds like you have digestive problems. Like you I used to be constapated and had problems with my gulballer (which sounds like you may be experiancing both) being sick like this will make you feel horible like you mentioned ealier (not being able to walk) I was so sick I could not even eat bread or a bannana or plain rice. I was like this for amonth.

Go to your heathfood store one that somone knows what they are talking about. I used a nature liver and galblader cleanser which helped me out alot. I still have my gullbadder; they wanted to remove it. (becareful of having this done)

The other part about the hot cold thing sounds like you have a Thyroid problem. Have you had it checked out. If you want some more infor feel free to reach me at D_Heyman1@yahoo.com

By the way if your stomuck is all out of whack it can cause you to have fever's.

I hope your feeling better,

Sincerely,
Buster

I'm sorry I'm not a doctor so I don't have a good answer for your symptoms. I would however recommend getting a new doctor. It sounds like the one you have isn't helping a bit. It is always a good idea to get a second or even third opinion. Especially if your symptoms persist. I hope you get better soon!

People should run to the doctor for every little f***ing scratch and then ***** about why health care cost so f***ing much. Maybe you should go see a doctor for that hostility issue you have. What about those who can't afford to see a Health care Professional.

You are still a minor so I would recommend discussing this with your parents and having them take you to a new pediatrician. You may need to be checked for H-Pylori or something else like Lupus. Get another medical opinion soon!
