I've posted before but new symptoms keep popping up and hoping someone here may know something similar to what I have. I'm 30 and in ok shape and been experiencing chest pains/heart flutters since November on a regular basis, with no real patterns. I've had two EKGs, a heart holter, a treadmill chest and x-ray. All shown I am normal.

SO..... I am seeking a different approach than it being my heart since cardiologists tell me I'm fine (but I don't feel fine!). I have found belching/burping seems to make me feel better at times and in cases can rid me of the pain. I thought about it being panic attacks, but this seems to hit me even at my calmest. I don't seem to have much if any acid reflux bile coming back. So I'm not sure what's up. Any ideas? The doctors don't seem to be much of a help and while I exercise and eat well, I am trying to find comfort in this weird mess!

Could be caused by a Hiatal hernia, this will cause pressure and possibly heartburn acid reflux type symptoms. My mom suffers from the hernia and says she feels like she is having a heart attack sometimes,it gets fluttery she says, once she burps(I should say blows the paint off the walls,it is loud belching!)she then feels better. Your diet might be better than my moms and could answer why you don't have the acid reflux part, but I would surely go to a Ear,Nose,Throat doctor. They specialize in this and can do the surgery if that is what is needed. Good luck.

Is it a crushing pain, like an elephant on your chest? If so, check into hospital. Down your arm or into the jaw? Hospital time. Family history of heart problems? Better get it checked out. However, think about any weights you have lifted lately or sudden, forceful movements/actions that you have done that might have strained your pec muscles. It could be that as well. Does it go away with resting, or can you move your arm while you're resting and make the pain appear? So, be safe and have it checked. Remember, the most common symptom of a heart attack is death.

You need to ask your doctor to refer you to a surgeon to have a endoscopy done. They can go down into your stomach and check everything on the way down. You might have gerds, or polyps, stomach irritation, ulcers, etc. Also you might need to check for gall stones. If something is wrong with your gall bladder it can hurt all through your chest and up into your shoulders and back. I hope you get some confirmation to whats wrong, and hope you feel better. Good luck.

ditto on the gall bladder theory. I had mine removed after years of the same type of things you describe, and no more! It was full of stones!
