I do just normal amount of studying i guess. but in my free's at 6th form we just sit in comfy chairs which entices me to slouch :) and the hard school chairs encourage me to slouch aswell to get comfy. I don't really have any physical problems like being unable to do stuff with my lil hunchback but it's not something i want.

It will be free if your doctor refers you to an NHS physio but you'll probably be on a waiting list for a while. Alternatively, you can pay for private treatment (usually around £30-£40 a session).

A physio will ask you questions about your condition and then assess your posture and movement. They will then give you some exercises to help treat the problem.

It sounds like its a simple postural problem which occurs more often nowadays because young people spend so much time sat at computers or at a desk. Try to correct your posture while sitting. Shoulders back, head up, tummy pulled tight. It'll be difficult to maintain the position at first as your muscles will get tired but keep going and you should find it easier.

Known as Dowager droop. Try some deportment exercises and including stretches. And no you will not have to pay for it even when you are 18. The UK NHS is wonderful really isn't it!

And yes it can be corrected by Physiotherapy but you must watch your deportment and the way you walk. Hold your stomach in and hold you head up high and pull your shoulders back.

Have you been doing a lot of studying by any chance as this can play havoc with your deportment as it encourages slouching.

Sounds like you may have scoliosis...have you been tested for this? Depending on the severity, physical therapy may help a bit, a brace could be used to correct the problem over time, and in severe cases (I saw some pretty severe ones on TLC the other day) surgery may be used to correct.

A treatment center I refer for twists, rips, and poor growing
muscle is in the dover islands. Any affiliate of the peace corps
has a full center and visits only if that is your situation. The
red cross, peace corps and Miller associations from sheffire,
thames or schoolhouse islands has sports therapy service.
When you are that young I would be very careful to take total
concern that you get quality service. This is not a typical medical type of condition, take the growing strong road and do
not worry it is dangerous. Nutritional information is serious and
that is the deep concern. here is a set of sites to read up

If your GP refers you it will be free on the NHS, regardless of how old you are. But be prpared to wait for the treatment to start as there is always a waiting list!

it will be free on the NHS if your GP recomends u. but be wary as it takes a long time because of the huge waiting list. u shouldn't hav to pay if your GP recomends u. best of luck. n hope u get well soon.
