I have severe stomach pain caused from Lupus, also nausea and sometimes vomiting, regardless of what is eaten or not eaten. Does anyone else have these problems from lupus, and what do you do for it.

My left eye started feeling kind of swollen and sticky, and it's kinda red. I don't have health insurance yet, so I don't want to go to the doctor. I could call in to work tommorrow, but will I need a doctor's note? What should I do?

My husband has experienced what appears to be blood in his urine a couple of times in the past month. It was darkish red to rust colored. He is diabetic and has a heart condition. He is in his mid-40s. He has had kidney stones before and thought this was probably the same thing except this time there has been only mild discomfort not the excruciating pain he had in the past. He went to the Dr. today but the urine sample contained no blood. They did find a large kidney stone but did not seem to think it was the cause of the dark red blood in his urine due to its position in the kidney (detected by x-ray) and the lack of significant pain. They are scheduling a cat scan and a bladder examination soon. I am just curious what else could be causing the bloody discharge if it is not the kidney stone?

It has just come about.. it is hard, peas sized, tender to the touch.. does not move about. She will not let me touch it and I do not know if it is something that will simply go away? Or if it is something serious.

My mother is dying of ALS disease and I have found links to various support groups, but what I am looking for is a place I can go and maybe read about other families experiences & possibly contact them. I am having a very difficult time & I would love to find someone who can relate to this horrible experience. There are no local support groups in my area. Personal webpages, anything .... would mean a great deal to me.

Not to get ahead of anything, I am just asking questions.
What is the probability a 15 year old with no family history of ANY cancer could have lymphoma?
I've had a small, puny ear lump that shrinks/grows when I'm stressed.
That's about it, and I'm wondering if it's possible.

I'm perfectly healthy but have had heart problems due to stress.
Is this all stress induced?
Maybe I ought to get some kind of help.

I've asked my eye doctor if I should be concerned that one or both of my eyes won't open when I wake up. This happens two or three times a week. Sometimes it happens five or days in a row and then won't happen for a week or so. When both eyes won't open it is very agravating. But both eyes, or just the one that is still closed, are open after about five minutes.
Does anyone else experiance this? What is it?

I don't know if any of you have read "Bleak House" by Charles Dickens, but in Chapter 31, Esther receives smallpox from her maid, Charley. She tells her to come near her because she has "become blind". I was wondering if you could actually go blind from smallpox.

I just discovered this about a week ago prior to going to the gym. I had this pressure around my right ear, and I went to rub my right ear and there was this circular bump about a centimeter under my earlobe. I thought it would go away by the next day, but it hasn't. It's still there, and when I sweat alot it becomes more apparent.

What is it? How should I treat it? Is it serious?

After every meal I eat, I will throw it back up (with saliva and other digestive liquids) in my mouth. The vomit is not projectile and I have noticed that this happens atleast twice a day. Typically (and this may seem gross) I'll just swallow it back down... since I do not want to worry my parents or seem odd when in front of people).

The vomiting will last for atleast an hour after I have eaten... then will cease.

Additionally, I don't really feel any nausea or fever... I just can't hold down my partially digested food.

Has anyone experienced this?? Any ideas as to what the cause is??

Thanks :-)
