The real beauty of this is that frequently these questions are answered by 10 -12 year old girls.

i would hazard the following:

certainly, we're not brain surgeons, or Psychologists, or Stock wizards.... BUT WAIT!!!

Yes, we actually might be.... Brain Surgeons, Psychologists, and Stock market consultants.... millions upon millions of people come here to offer advice, or simply read and answer questions... sometimes, there might be an actuall professional on board...

However, some people just want to find direction... they may find it here... or at least, learn some different or new avenues... or maybe, some folks just want to share their experiences and need and outlet. It's all right here.

I enjoy reading questions and answers on this site.. Some are so totally outrageous, while others are either informative or endearing.. it's a place to lay some folks heads and allay some others fears.

Enjoy.... and try not to focus too much negative energy in one place.... it's fun, informative, and who knows. it might even be helpful.

I more or less agree with you but I can think of a few reasons.

They don't want to spend the money to go to the doctor or maybe they just want opinions or are hoping to talk to someone who's gone through a similar situation.

I think they expect to be able to see how other people would react, and then gauge thier own response to those answers - as a way of deteriming how they themselves feel -- at least thats what I'm hoping they are doing.

You're jerks. These people are just concerned and need an outlet and would like to hear other people opinions about what they would do. You don't have to answer the question.

Some people are pretty intensely stupid. Especially on the Internet.
