Mucus can sometimes be an indication of IBS; however, you should seek medical attention before deciding this is what's wrong with you. Also, if this condition continues or worsens you should see a doctor.

Something irritated you. Could have been what you ate or a virus. If it doesn't continue, I wouldn't worry further. Otherwise, see a doctor. Blood in the stool is a bad sign, but it doesn't usually show up red. Red is from the anus, or close to it. Intestinal bleeding shows up as tarry black stools if it's much, or can only be detected in a test.

By the way, all that's red isn't blood. If you eat beets, the color comes through.

thats nothing abnormal. your bodys digestive system coats the small intestine with mucus like that. excess mucus would just mean that you have a small infection. blood is never good in stool but its probably nothing to worry about.

Have you eaten alot of vegetables lately? Extra fiber? Been picking your nose? If you have blood in your stool that's a pretty serious problem, you should see a dr as soon as possible

if this keeps up go to the doctor. There is something called c-diff that causes these syptoms, especailly if you have been on antibiotics lately. Call the doctor for appropriate treatment.

Have you been sick lately or have bad sinus problems or a cold?

That's the only thing I can think of as to why it would be that way.
