I have the flu but my voice was fine until I ate an orange. Was that a bad idea?

Are there specific symptoms to tell if you have a stomach virus (stomach flu) or food poisoning? Thanks

I don't see what the big deal is. If medication can help you, I say go for it.

I had quite a traumatic experience in 2006, but i felt as though I had recovered from it. Now i'm not so sure?

I feel so sad within, i want to cry...yet my eyes just glaze over & nothing comes out?

Depression may have something to do with it, yet i do not believe in taking medication, so that's so far, a no-go area.

Has anyone any ideas which could help.....

many thanks from dee :-)

Recently I have had the worst stomach aches where they bloat me out, my heartbeat quickens, I shake alittle, and I feel nausea. It all started happening last saturday...that was 6 days ago. I still feel sick. Last saturday I got so sick that I spent 2 hours in the bathroom defecating.
I dont know why all of a sudden this is happening but it is.
I'am also lactose intolerant and it seems like when ever I have even the tiniest 'tea'spoon full of milk my body goes crazy and I get so ill.
I hate it sooo much.
usually I can eat cheese and ice cream with non problem, but lately my body wont let me at all.
Does anybody else experience this?

I keep finding bruises on myself that you'd think i'd remember causing, but I have no idea where they come from. I feel fine otherwise.

It scares me that there are so many doctors that don't know about the TSH standards going from high TSH at 5 to High being 3 or even 2 .... This change was made in 2003!! I went in with a TSH 5.3 and my doc said I was "normal" I knew something was wrong with me (hmmm, hair falling out, cold, sick as a dog, tired, so confused it was hard for me to drive, etc) so I bugged and bugged him, I finally had to get an endo to talk to him, found out I have Hashi's ... if I wasn't persistent, I'd be in bed right now wondering why I was so sick, he probably would have put me on Prozac thinking I was depressed. People, if your doctor says a TSH of over 3 is normal, argue, kick and scream if you have to, it may be uncomfortable and awkward, but you will thank yourself in the long run.

I just started Synthroid (levothyroxin) and I have already been taking Ultram. My pharmacist and doc said I can take them together but I'm still nervous about it. I also take Imitrex and Vicodin when I get severe migraines, Klonopin if I can't sleep, is it okay to take those with Synthroid too? If I can take any or all of these with Synthroid, should I wait a certain amount of hours before or after them to take the Synthroid? Thanks!

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with it! I had so much pain! It did go away with a heating pad! Now, I've been stuck with it again for the past three weeks, so much pain! So again, I'm sitting on a heating pad! I take naproxen daily for another illness. It started again awhile after I went to the dentist and had to take tylenol no.3 Do you think it came back because of the combinaison of these two pills? Why do you think it came back? The pain is unbearable! Any opinion would be greatly appreciated!!
