I had just read a message from someone on answers and they sounded very suicidal.. I went to their profile, and don't get anywhere...any suggestions

Usually when people come out with their feelings just like that it is a cry for help more than a serious threat, and if this person is suffering from a mental illness then other people in their circle will be aware of their suicidal thoughts, So don't worry about it anymore. you're obviously a caring person, but there's little you can do so move on, hard as it may seem, before it brings you down too.

Find out everything you can. I would always ask where are they from. Stay on line with them and use a cell phone if you have one immediately.

you shouldn't. people who really want themselves dead are going to pull it off without telling anyone. people who come on here and say it are just looking for attention.
