I started using one yesterday for a sinus infection.

I think they work great but, ewwww they are not fun to do. They make me gag.

I have a history of sinus problems. So when I see a new sinus related medical device, I tend to get interested. Willie Wood turned me on to something called Ayr (I was having some serious desert induced sinus issues). I found out today that Ayr has released a sinus rinsing system. I decided to try it out.

I was drawn in by the closing cap, something that Sinus Rinse doesn't have (so my toiletries get a little wet when I travel). That's pretty much the only bonus. The sports bottle top doesn't seal against one's nose very well. And the smaller bottle makes it hard to get the typhoon like pressure one experiences with Sinus Rinse. Sorry Ayr. Your saline gel is awesome. Stick to what you know.

I found it very effective - though I didn't like using it.
