Yes.
But it wont be the same virus. As soon as you have rid yourself of a cold you are immune to that exact strain.

However, the virus constantly mutates and this is why there has never been any cure.
Generally speaking ,it is likely to be the same strain doing its rounds that will attack you again if there is only days difference.

The common cold is a virus, if you catch the cold your body will develop antibodies to defeat this strain of the virus, so if you pas it on to your friends you will not catch this strain of the virus again because your body is now equipped to deal with this particular strain.
However, there may be more than one strain of the virus in circulation, so YES it is possible to be unfortunate enough to catch another strain of the cold within 2 or 3 days !!

agreed, once you've had one cold you cant catch that strain again as your body has created the nesscessary antigens.

but symptoms of a cold are mostly caused by your own body in the process of fighting the virus, having a sore throat for example means that you've had the virus and that your body is now defeding itself (it kills multiple cells in your throat in search of the virus) so i should imagine you proberly had the the virus in you for at least a week.

You bet! There are hundreds of strains of bacteria/and or viruses out there. Might try Vitamin C(need to take daily) to boost your immune system.
