I am having a minor surgery today, (having 2 moles removed from down "south") and my surgery is at 2pm. I have no problems not eating, but what if I have a small amount of water this morning? They say no food OR drink, but have read that water is ok up to 3 or 4 hours before surgeries??? Has anyone been in my shoes, and what did you do? I am just having a gas mask, not an epidural or I-V anestesia (sp). Please help SOON!

neither one can support him to stand. He uses 2 crutches. He's about 5'1" because of this. Is there anything that can help him walk aside from crutches or is too late in his life? Are there prostheses, callipers that can help him stand or walk without the crutches? What is the life expectancy of people who are like this? He's only 42 but lacks exercise and his blood pressure has always been high like in the 150's/i'm not sure what they're over sorry... what are things he can do to have a healthy and long life when he can't walk much with his crutches? It makes him really tired really fast? I just really care about him so I would like to be able to help him. Please share whatever information you know about this. Thank you!

He was in the hosital for a week to find a antibiotic that would get his infection under control and I had to administer antibiotics through a PICC line every 8 hours. He just recently had it removed now they are saying in a month or 2 they will think about removing it. Im confused because I thought it was dangerous and needed to be removed immediately.

I have Nocturnal Epilepsy. All of my seizures occur in my sleep, but I am not sure exactly how many I have at all times. I am trying to find out a way to record my seizures.
In the past I have been in the hospital which recorded my seizures, but special lighting was required. If I am able to use my computer to record my seizure patterns I realize I will have to sleep with a dim light on, but do I have to worry about the computer shutting down during the night or can the computer go to sleep and record anyway?

Assalam o alikum
I want to know in how many countries Cadaver has been legalized. Unfortunately in my country (Pakistan) it has not been legalized yet. Despite of the efforts from sincere ppl, this bill is still in pending.

If this bill passes, the patient who needs kidney or liver can be benefited.

Let me remind you that a lot of patients are waiting for the organ in order to enjoy their life fully.

Remember! Health is wealth, and it’s a gift from Allah. Can we help others to get this wealth and gift??

I was just curious.. if you can give me reasons for being tired and sleepy and just totally out of it although you had enough sleep the night before.I had a good sleep and seemed alert most of the day ,now its late but not that late..All of a sudden I feel sleepy and tired and my mind just doesn't seem to be alert ..Its cold outside and well not sure this is weather related.I am laying here comfortable and with a blanket over me propped up and normally am alert this time of night and enjoying myself..What are the reasons that you would believe could be responsible for yawning and sleepiness and being tired when you haven't had that active of a day .. and just resting around?

Im a young high school student dont drink/drugs, dont smoke
Digestive problems began 8 months ago, consistent
Ongoing pain in stomach (not ache), now, intestinal pain, too.
Symptoms: cringe forcing, horrible pain in stomach (top & bottom) after eating, night, sleeping, & morning, & sometimes out of nowhere. Pain in large intestine, and colon, and sometimes appendix. Dizziness, tiredness, weakness, fatigue, malaise after eating, bright red blood and mucus in stool, frequently. Pain in hips, legs, and bones, shakiness, loss of weight, then gain in weight. Gastroenterologist (GI doctor) perform all scopes, barium study, cat scans and can’t name any diagnosis, nor can she think of anything. After finding that I had inflammation and scars in my intestine, colon, and inflamed appendix “not appendicitis,” she seems clueless and scope shows no ulcers, etc, and biopsy’s came back “fine” I feel extremely uncomfortable in my own body. Please, any ideas? Email 4 more info ella_rach@yahoo.com

I need to make contact with anyone who answers the following questions with a yes..1. Are you currently using nicotine replacement gum to keep from smoking or did you use it for at least two years? 2. Do/did you use at least ten 2 mg. pieces per day? 3. Did you experienced severe body aches or muscle cramping during nighttime hours while using the gum? I suspect my nighttime charlie horses and body aches early in the day are somehow related to lower levels of nicotine during those times. Always feel much better later in the day. Please answer and if willing, send me an e mail to discuss this possibility. I need your help. My e mail is shopkeeperibo@yahoo.com. Thank you.
