Stammering is usually treated by a combination of speech therapy and medications. However there are no FDA approved drugs for this conditon. A speech pathologist may be able to help you out.

Stammering is an interesting problem. It has to do with listening for what you are saying and getting confused. (Mel Tillis has the problem) One doesn't Stammer while singing, because the words are all planned out, with the cadence. A friend of mine who stammered found that drinking helped his, for it relaxed him. This is one of those problems that the more you worry about it, the worse it gets. (I wonder if auctioneering, which is a more or less controlled stammer would help... I would be afraid to recommend it, for it might make things worse)
