I live in a very tropical country and it really worries me because I feel cold even though the weather temperature is normal and sometimes warm. In our office where the aircon is centralized, my co-employees does not feel very cold at all and I look at my finger nails, they're all bluish :( I'm not even skinny. I'm like 70kilos. My hemoglobin is normal. What could be the reason?

Hello - My dad and my dad's mom's sister's daughter have MS. I have the following symptoms: tingling when bending my neck down, eye visions problems, and tingling in extremities.

I truly do not care about anything else except the fear that I will not be able to get medical insurance if I get diagnosed with MS. Should I bother to get diagnosed and not be able to get insurance because of a pre-existing condition, or should I just let the symptoms come and go and getworse and not do anything?

They started up again in 2006 and nobody seems to be able to tell me why? My medication has been increased but i still seem to having seizures every 4/5 weeks. It is really starting to interfere with my life, worketc.

I constantly have to clear my throat or cough, sometimes to the point of getting a little hoarse, and have had this problem for 3 or 4 years now. I've been treated for acid reflux and that didn't help. I have also had my tonsils removed. I've had antibiotics, decongestants, and antihistimines, none that really do anything for me. It always feels like there is something in my throat that i just need to cough up. I can cough up phlegm all day long, but it just comes back within minutes. It gets worse after eating, and physical activity. I want to go to an ENT but am afraid he'll just prescribe something and then send me on my way. I drink plenty of water. What are some possible things that can cause this and things that I can do to fix it. The doctor has mentioned athsma but hasn't tested for it or anything. Is going to an ENT something I should do? I have heard about people getting scopes done, and I was wondering if that could find anything. Any information would be great.

3 years ago i ate a a restuaraunt imediatly following i felt pain. it just felt stronger and stronger till finally i could not even walk. the pain was intense. and after about 12 hours of pain i threw up. what i had eaten. the second time was worse i woke up one morning and had that full feeling. about 3 hours later i knew what it was it was the pain again. this time it was stronger. the feeling is like this. you get a little pain like gas. and then it subsides and then it comes a little stronger it is like that untill it is so strong you cant even walk. i start having cold sweats. finally the pain is just there no more subsideing. and then set in the nausea. and then i throw up and this time it was all yellow green looking and it burned. bad. all my gums and toung. i had another case last year. it was worse. since they did not give me pain killers i was curled up in to a ball for hours. and then after all day of suffering out came the yellow green liquid.

I believe i have a little touch of insomnia. I have trouble falling asleep. I work a Job that requires me to be up and at'em by 6:30 in the morning and I don't get home until 6 in the evening. I have a little girl so i'm usually busy when i get home. No matter how exhausted I am I can't fall asleep until 3 in the morning. This goes on for several days untill i just crash and sleep 15 hours. Things you need to know....I worked hootowl shift for a year and never got "un-used" to it, I'm over weight, i smoke, and most importantly i'm a recovering drug addict. Therefore i don't want to take narcotics to go to sleep.

Any suggestions?

A few years ago I had a C section and delivered prematurely. I am morbidly obese, have no co-morbidities but did develop pre-eclampsia. My question is, after my surgery I develop a few hernias. One is an umbilical hernia, and the other is along my surgery scar. I have learned to eat healthy in the last year and I have lost weight but eating low glycemic index foods and becoming more active. yay for me, but it does not necessarily repair my "buldge" Will these in time repair itself naturally once my weight normalizes or is surgery my only option at this point ? I do wear a girdle to hold it so that when I cough it does not "pressure out" I would hate to have to continue to do this forever even after my weight becomes healthy. Any suggestions relating to surgical hernias and obesity ?

My son has been in the habit of licking his fingers or the backs of his hands then pressing them to his eyes as if his eyes were dry. He is super sensitive to light and MUST have sunglasses when we leave the house. He has done this for a few years now; he'll be 8 in April. Has anyone heard of anything similar or know of anything related? Thanks...
