Not really a question as much as a word of advise
I am in the construction industry and i find this bit of information very useful to those who own a home older than 1978.
If this is you i would recomend you find a contractor that is lead abatment certified. ask them to perform a lead pain evaluation. If it comes back posotive then i recommend you get a quote to remove this, as it is a hazzard to a child age 6 and under, a pregnant woman and any woman of child bearing age. this can affect children. adults are not at as much risk. if you have any questions feel free to ask i will find the answer.

I was told a few years ago by a busy-body that this was the reason someone very dear to me had died. I felt she was gossiping more than passing information, though I couldn't for the life of me figure out why she would say it, since this incident happened 21 years ago. Isn't the brainstem too deep inside the head for that, and wouldn't a doctor know better then to do so?

ive been getting really bad pains right below my rib cage in the center of my stomach for about a year now. it use to happen like once every 3 or 4 months and olny last for a few hours but now im getting it twice a month and it last for up to 13 hours! it feels almost like a huge gas bubble, but if i burp, pass gas, or go to the bathroom it doesnt relieve the pain at all. not even vicoden helps. ive been to the doctor and been tested for gall stones, peptic ulcer disease and hiatal hernia . i am not overweight and i thought i have always ate pretty good. has anyone else ever had anything like this and what did you do to relieve the pain?

My usual night consists of 'bolting up right' in bed feeling that i can't breath. Sometimes i will find myself standing in a room having bolted and can't remember how i got there? My symptoms are very scarey. My heart will be usually thumping in my chest and i have pains in my left arm with pins and needles. I used to suffer with this sleep disturbance a couple of times a year, but recently it is almost every night. I had quite a bad attack the other night, where the thumping of my heart did not sub-side and i seemed to not beable to get my pulse to slow down. It was nearly two hours before it slowed to a regular pace. Would like to know if anyone has any ideas what i could be suffering from??

I have trouble keeping food down--it comes and goes. I have had an upper GI and a colonoscopy and lots of blood work. Just wondering if these would also find out gall bladder problems as I am getting ready once again to tackle the doctor merry-go-round to find out what is wrong.
