Some people thrive under pressure, I don't know if you watch sports or if you are a business executive but Brady Quinn from Notre Dame handled himself well under pressure Saturday night I love to work under pressure that's what separates me from ordinary people. Make sure that before you go into a situation you have thought of every possible scenario that could possibly happen and what your response will be. Rehearse t in front of a mirror if you have to until you are comfortable saying it yourself. This will make a big difference when decision time comes, you will all ready be prepared and know ahead of time what you have chosen. This kind of cool under fire personality will draw people towards you and you will find yourself will more team support then you have ever had in your life. Keep practicing and keep the good attitude

I am a person with a horrible anger problem. What I do is go for a walk, think about stuff, think about good things, and try to figure out in my head what is going on. (Drives work as well). You will get further in any situation if you keep your cool. The more angry you get the worse the situation will become. Just keep telling yourself that it is best for you and for everyone around you if you do keep your kool.

Controlled breathing, and maybe some posture adjustment. Often during periods of stress our breathing becomes more shallow, even in everyday life we normally only take breaths about 30% of our lungs capacity. In a situation where I'm feeling stress, i'll take a quick sec to focus on my breathing, 7 slow nice full breaths makes a difference. This can be done subtly in a social situation as not to draw attention to yourself.

I just sort of go into a trance of sorts. I calm myself as much as possible, and concentrate on the job at hand or whatever the situation. If it is an emergengy with a loved one hurt, I try to look through the situation, and make a rational decision as to the action needed. Over time, you develop a thicker skin. Good luck on your stressful situations.

Without sounding trite, I breathe slowly and take more time to think, not less. I make lists to feel that I have control over what needs to be done. The time I spend organizing controls and keeps the pressures real instead of imagined.

I write down what is bothering me and what I can do to fix it. If that doesn't work I'll take a walk and just think about anything but what's bugging me, like a tree I'm passing by or something to take my mind off it. I'll read sometimes too.
