YES it is a warning symptom of diabetes. Go to the doctor and get your blood sugar levals checked. I am diabetic and it is OK as long as you learn how to take care of yourself. But get to the doctor ASAP You need to know the score and what to do to live a normal healthy life. I do,with a pill and exercise and proper diet, but i get to eat most of what I like and the sugar free stuff today is great. So that's the deal, your doctor can tell ya more, so go.

Besides a case of dehydration?

Let me guess: you need to pee all the time too. And I bet you have dizzy spells. And you either don't eat right or you don't get as much exercise as you should? Tingling in an extremity like it is falling asleep when you haven't done anything to cause it? You may have type 2 diabetes:

If this fits most or all of your symptoms, talk to your doctor. The sooner you get on insulin and learn how to manage your blood sugar, the better.
