I have Rheumatoid Arthritis at age 32 but it only shows up during extreme stress. Since I am currently going through a VERY stressfull situation my shoulder has all but shut down. It hurts to walk if I twist my body just right, it hurts to sleep. Besides not stressing which is impossible, any ideas on how to alleviate the pain? I'm three months pregnant so medication is very limited.

I was diagnosed with fribromyalgia last year, and since yesterday, I have never ever had as much pain as I am now in. The weather got cold out here in the San Francisco Bay Area and I am wondering if that could affect it? It is also making me feel depressed since I am a breast cancer person, and my mind wandered to whether it is not the fribomyalgia, but whether the cancer returned to the bone. Does anyone know how the pain for bone cancer feels.

Thanks for your help.

Patient is female, 70 yrs old, about 4 days ago, had fever, vomited once and complained about stomach pain, sonography revealed small stones in Gall Bladder. this is the first time this has happened. But since that day there are no other symtons or any pain. Is surgery the only solution or these stones can be dissolved by any other means.

I have just recently received word that I have PSC. Apparently, I have had this liver disease for at least 5 years. I'm interested to know how long someone has experienced this condition before a liver transplant was considered. I initially had severe chills and high fevers but for the past few months those have abated. However, I have had at least 30-40 consecutive bouts of severe night sweats. Has anyone experienced this and if so when did they end? Any other comments on this disease would be helpful.

Is there anyone on here that has MS? I have been diagnosed since 2002 and I have a question about a change that I have noticed with the disease. For about 4 or 5 months now I get up in the morning and I have the dry heaves. I take the betaseron injections and was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing the same kind of problem? My doctor doesn't seem to concerned about it. At first I thought that I was pregnant but found out I'm not. So, my question is this.... Is this normal with MS and betaseron? Also, how can I stop the dry heaves?? I would greatly appreciate any help and advice you may have to offer.

They have been bothering me for a while now, the left more than the right, they don't hurt or sting or feel too dry or to wet, and the white part is not red, they just feel tense, if I am just looking around the room at nothing in particular they feel ok and I can keep them open but if I try to look at some specific like words in a book they automaticly feel tense and want to close, I can get temporary relief if I close them for a few minutes or if I rub my forhead above my eyebrows or along the bones under them, I went to my eye doctor and he said I have dry eyes and gave me eye drops but they don't do anything but make my eyes sting, the pink part in the inside corners is a little swollen but not enough that you can tell unless you look close, they feel the same whether the room is light or dark so I don't think they are light sensitive, it is more annoying than anything, any ideas what the problem is?

I asked a question about vasculitis,it was not for me. It was for my young daughter who has been diagnosed with this rare disease; she has had at least four mini strokes from this. She is not a druggie so to speak either.
