first, black stools would be a sign of upper digestive bleeding. Hemorrhoids in the lower anal area would leave bright blood streaks in the poop. Your next issue is diarrhea. That may or may not have anything to do with the color of your stools. But having frequent stools can irritate the lining of your intestines and cause small breaks in the blood vessels. A lot of people have hemorrhoids cause of constipation. So the problems could be related or not. I would defiantly address your concerns with a doc. that can send you to a GI doc. if needed. They will probably scope you if they think it is needed. By the way, certain foods can cause the color of you're stools to change.

Red blood in the stool is an indication of hemorrhoids, but black usually means that your are bleeding internally and this is a bad sign. You need to see a doctor who will look inside to find where the blood is coming from. Don't be afraid of this procedure, I've had it done many times and they give you sedatives so that you don't feel anything.
The diarrhea might be an unrelated problem.

Get to the doctor! Black stool is usually a sign of blood in the stool. Unless you have been taking Pepto Bismal. Be safe and see a doc.
