why is it that it breaks off before reaching 1 or 2 inches? and it's pale looking? and is fairly constipated... but im not having trouble pooping at all(i dont do it daily)

am i eating too much fiber?

i avoid fatty food except junk food which i have at least 80grams a day... except on sundays when i dont usually have breakfast and lunch.

I really don't think that your stool breaking off is of any importance whatsoever. I agree that your low-fat diet is most likely responsible for the color. It is true that bile (produced by the liver and stored in the gallbladder) is released when there is fat intake. Bile emulsifies fat and also gives stool its characteristic dark color.

As far as the constipation you mentioned, increase your fluid intake, your exercise/activity and take an OTC stool softener, such as docusate sodium, for a couple of weeks. Cut back on the junk food and see how this works for you.

very pale poop is from a low fat diet. Plop is brown when you eat fatty foods(because of bile). The lighter the poop the less fat you have eaten.

Eat a couple of oreos and see what happens. Won't do much for the early breakage, but might darken you up a bit- like gravymaster! lol

Eat more protein (eggs, milk, nuts and red, lean meat) and oranges, apples and grapefruit .

Lay off the junk food.

Drink more water......
