Has been this way since going off baby food. He wants to know why he is like this. It is not a dicipline or spoiled child problem. This is serious-he can't bring himself to eat anything!

My son is the same way. He is a very good boy and wants to please us by eating better but he can't bring himself to and will gag if he tries. He has gotten somewhat better but is still pretty bad. Otherwise he is very healthy so I am not going to stress out too much. I was a poor eater as a child and now I love all foods.

He is aware he won't eat anything else, but yet doesn't want to try anything else? It would be different if food made him ill, but this doesn't sound like the case. I guess he'll grow out of it. What is his age?

Let him be. Don't try to force him to eat something he doesn't want. Give him a multivitamin every morning and let him eat what he wants. It will change eventually.

Oh that's not good at all. Maybe he needs to talk with a doctor.
