it can be pretty depressing to the family and how do you help the one with the OCD??? I am doing an essay and trying to decide which part to do it on, thought how it affects family members might be a good one......

I am a senior at high school. Ever since I am at high school I have been sleeping bad at night. I think it is the stress from school that is causing it. Every night I try to go to sleep at 11pm to wake up at 7am. BUt the problem is that I have a hard to fall asleep. It takes me an hour or more to fall asleep then I sleep well with no problems. Is this insomnia or what?

OK, so i had some fruit cocktail, and after i ate one small piece of fruit, i saw that the other parts were not so normal looking. I didn't realize it was sorta old ... will I get botchalism?? How bad is it??

I know this teenages (18) who lives in korea and i have been talking to him for a while..He mentioned to me that he has a illness ( or an illness that effects him mentally). He said that the illness causes him to pay attantion to things we usually wouldn’t pay any attantion too...for example when we breathe...we breathe without thinking about it...but he cant do that...he said that he needs to recognize when to take a breathe and when to release it...he said he is having a problem with his every action in a mental way. He also said that the condition effects his whole nervous system.
He has seen many doctors in Korea and none seem to know what the problem is exactly.
If anyone can help this would be greatly appreciatd as i want to help him very much...if you have any ideas or any way to help please give me some information or tell me what you know or think the problem may be...

Since February of this year I have had a feeling of fatique, pain throughout all of my extremities, and a felling of burning with fever - although my temperature is normal when I take it. I've been to several doctors, including a rheumetologist, an infectious disease doctor, and a neurologist. All the tests come up negative. My family doctor has said that it might be a virus and I'm just going to have to hope it goes away - OR wait until the symptoms worsen! Has anyone else experienced this? Did you ever find a cause?

I was diagnosed with Gastritis and everything I eat makes the gas pain worse. What helps you? I appreciate any serious suggestions. I take Protonix and Gas-x (Simethicone) I may also have Gastropareses but the tests aren't back.

ok there was this spider that was crawling in my house yesterday and i killed it. but im trying to figure out what it was. it was fast and when my brother was trying to kill it, it jumped from the floor to the wall. it was brown.it was big but kinda small too. so like medium. can anyone tell me what it was?? it looked something like the one in this picture:

A friend told me a strange way to check for anemia. She said to take a penny and drag it along the soft, smooth underside of your arm. If it left a black streak, you are anemic. It sounds really weird, does anyone know if this is legitimate?

MRI results say "Small Cystic Lesions are seen within the right cerebellar lobe without demonstrable enhancement. The remaining cerebral strustures are noted to be unremarkable. No other abnormalities are seen". Does anyone know what this means? My dr. said they could have been since birth and is sending me to a neurologist just to confirm. Anyone know anything about this type of thing?

I was wondering if there are any diseases or disorders that cause your blood to be thick & sticky.. My blood is very gooey and my hair has also been falling out more than usual. I'm only 24- I'm worried there may be an underlying disease or something wrong with me. I don't have medical insurance so i can't go get checked out. What could cause thick blood? I got a cut the other day and my blood was soo sticky that my fingers felt glued together when it started to dry, and also when it drips the drips kind of become long strings of slimey blood, like it hardens to a gak-type substance (remember the gak slime stuff you buy at the toy store?). I'm just a little worried...

I have lost weight since the last time I had my cholesterol checked at least 25 pounds but still about 15 pounds too heavy. Please help I don't like taking medicine because of all the side effects!
