MRI results say "Small Cystic Lesions are seen within the right cerebellar lobe without demonstrable enhancement. The remaining cerebral strustures are noted to be unremarkable. No other abnormalities are seen". Does anyone know what this means? My dr. said they could have been since birth and is sending me to a neurologist just to confirm. Anyone know anything about this type of thing?

as long as you have no cerebellar symptoms, balance, coordination etc, you should be good, neurologist will do a complete exam and probably repeat MRI in a few months, if you have symptoms or signs then he will treat accordingly, good luck

small cystic lesions= scar tissue you may have some blood vessels that rerouted themselves somehow. Ask the neuro. and get him to explain it so you can understaand what it is.
