My grandmother also has fibromyalgia. It is manageable. The best thing I can tell you is to remember that there are other people with it. Find a support group, if you feel comfortable sharing your feelings about it. Research it on the internet. Exercise will help keep the pain to a minimum, but it will be something that you will have to deal with for the rest of your life. You'll have aches and pains in your joints that limit you to some degree. Find a good rheumatologist to guide your treatment, because you are young, and your life will be just as full as anyone elses life. Don't let it get you down!
