I can't eat anything with aspartame and I don't want to waste a bunch of money trying candy after candy. I found that Lifesavers Sugar-Free Butter Toffee candy is good, but would especially like some fruit-flavored hard candy and/or lollipops. Also wondering if there are sugar-free gums w/out aspartame. I don't have Diabetes, I'm trying to quit smoking and when I need candy I want to eat only sugar-free as one of my ways of controlling the amount of weight I gain.

My husband went through Chemo and it left him with arthritis and type 2 diabeties. The Dr. put him on pain pills but they have a lot of scary side effects. this Dr. is not much on natural remedies. Has anyone with type 2 diabeties had experience with Glucosmine?

this only happens when i walk or run OUTSIDE (usually in shorts or a skirt) but when i'm walking for a long time especially if it's cold, my legs (thighs especially) start itching like crazy? I eat pretty healthy and don't have a family history of diabetes. could this just be poor circulation

Last year I became disabled due to diabetes. No more driving or working due to low vision.
It has been hard adjusting to this new lifestyle.
Does anyone know where i might find a site that lets you write back and forth to people with similar disabilities?
i have found some chat rooms but cannot type fast enough to keep up with those.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Post diagnosis in April 06 changed diet and exercise routines. Score averages 5.8 since measured every morning and sometimes afternoon evening...but total comes to 5,8. Could this be a pre diabetic condition.
