to answer this question you must ask yourself what are the organs invovled in the excretory system. and is the kidney suited to it's function. Are the parts of the kidney all playing a role and what is that role???

I love my husband, but because of his illness and depression, our relationship is platonic. Not my idea, he's just overwhelmed. The doctors say there is no physical limitation. He's seen two counselors who think he's making progress. Once every year or so, doesn't seem like progress to me.

I won't be unfaithful, but I am lonely. And I honestly don't know what to do about that.

How do you decrease or redirect that drive?

I really hate feeling like this, and I have no idea what to do.

The marriage I hoped for is no longer a possibility. How do I grieve it and move on with my husband without dying inside?

How can you make yourself honestly okay with something you would never choose?

I find myself just shutting down, and I don't want to do that. But when I'm open and vulnerable I end up angry with him and I cry a lot. I know that just makes him feel guilty on top of his depression, and I hate that.

What makes the loneliness go away?

I had tests done last wk.. It was a fasting test and my glucose came back normal, but my insulin level came back a 2. The nurse said normal was from 6-25. Is this something serious that needs to be addressed before Mon. w/ the dr.? I am just a little scared and concerned. If there is a dr. out there who can maybe help me, I would appreciate it!!

My friend told me some of the symptoms for diabetes are being thirsty and going to the bathroom often.
After learning that water if good for you, I drink at least 5-6 bottles (Poland Spring .5L) a day and I go to the bathroom a LOT
could this mean I have diabetes?
and can someone tell me what other symptoms there are/

My doctor did an insulin level test and said my level was too high. He called it hyperinsulinemia. He said it is a precursor to diabetes and recommended I start metformin (glucophage) to help the insulin level come back down to normal range. And also the medicine would help the insulin work better. I queston using a diabetes medicine if I do not have diabetes. He said it was to prevent it from getting worse. Does anyone have additional information?

I do not really understand diabetes and how insulin works. Info on that would be helpful as well.
