I had tests done last wk.. It was a fasting test and my glucose came back normal, but my insulin level came back a 2. The nurse said normal was from 6-25. Is this something serious that needs to be addressed before Mon. w/ the dr.? I am just a little scared and concerned. If there is a dr. out there who can maybe help me, I would appreciate it!!

Don't be scared. Insulin levels can change due to stress, environment and among many other things. Wait to see your doctor and don't fret.

a low insulin level means that you pancreas(below your stomach) is not producing enough insulin which provides you with energy you have normally and the low insulin level, comes out as diabetes
