It seems to be a roller coaster thing with me. I get so disgusted. Any suggestions from other diabetics. Please, only serious replies.

The problem with us diabetics is temptation to food! Urrgghh...! But we've got to be disciplined! I chose not to be on any medications and I eat herbs and local vege that are good for diabetes. I also supplement myself with natural multivites, antioxidants, immune booster, chromium and distilled fish oil. Moderate exercise is also a must!

Yes of course diabetics can have eating disorders. Eating disorders come more from worries of weight many of which should not be worries though some are actually physical and can affect anybody most eating disorders are because of either weight concerns or health diet concerns. Someone with diabetes who does have to be careful of their diet would easily prefer to eat less or ignore diet requirements because of effects that occur when their blood sugar is out of wack. So it would be much easier for them to develope an eating disorder. The problem is when you are type 1 diabetic it is so much more a problem if you dont eat a balanced diet to keep the sugar levels even. Also a problem would be that when blood sugar levels are not kept balanced then it is easy to be distracted from keeping a diet regiment cause when you dont feel good you tend to not feel like eating or you feel like eating more and it can just keep going in cycles. Sorry I dont know many with type 1 diabetes and am not in medical field so do not research these things. I do however have an eating disorder in that I do not regularly get hungry. I have gone through days where I did not eat because I was busy doing other things. Have actually passed out at work a few times because I simply forgot to eat. I found I had to actually put myself on a schedule of eating once a day if I was hungry or not. Yet know if I do not eat something once a day it can be a problem. I am glad you do not do that anymore and will keep you in prayer.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I also have this struggle, so now in the last 2 weeks I am monitoring my blood sugars more often sometimes 5-6 times a day depending on how I feel. I take insulin 2 times a day and metformin.

So close monitoring helps, this way you can see that a low blood sugar is either there now or coming soon if you don't eat.

If your blood sugar is low, you can chew glucose tablets, they are available at any store even Walmart and Target. They help bring your sugar level back quickly without spiking your blood sugar like candy would do.

This is what I am doing and it is helping.

Good luck

My husband is a type 2 diabetic. His sugars are almost always high WHEN he checks them which is rarely. Losing weight has helped him some. His diet is not the greatest, but I try to keep him healthy, I just can't control what he eats when I'm not around.

I've been doing the Rice Diet (www.ricediet.com) since August, and have lost 50+ pounds. That and exercise have leveled my blod sugars so that I no longer need insulin, and only take metformin (2x daily) now.
