Last year I became disabled due to diabetes. No more driving or working due to low vision.
It has been hard adjusting to this new lifestyle.
Does anyone know where i might find a site that lets you write back and forth to people with similar disabilities?
i have found some chat rooms but cannot type fast enough to keep up with those.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I just found a site healingwell.com
It has several disorders and diseases on it. There are forums, where you can write back and forth, and also chat rooms if you choose.
I hope this can help you some. I can imagine you may be feeling pretty isolated. I have diabetes also. But I have not been disabled from it.

this is a great site! Try it and see what you think. My mother, grandmother, Aunty and myself are all Type 2 diabetics. We all use this site and love it!!
