Not "get rid of" per se, but you have a very good chance of being able to have normal (non-diabetic) blood sugars, possibly without medication, if you catch it early on and make the effort.

Follow a healthy diet and watch portions, lose any excess weight, and exercise at least 45 min. 5x per week.

Some people find supplements such as chromium and cinnamon can also help.

Contrary to popular belief, Type 2 diabetes does NOT have to be a progressive disease if the proper lifestyle changes are made early on. Unfortunately, some doctors would rather hand out pills than give healthy living advice.

The answer to this question in short is this : your doctor is correct, there is no "cure" for type 2 diabetes, or type 1 for that matter. Once you have it, you have it. Now through diet, exercise and weight loss. you can reduce your symptoms, even to the point of not having to take medication. and in a way rid yourself of diabetes. But in a way it is still there, if you went back to your old life style when you were diagnosed, it would come right back. Just the same as Cancer can go into remission and someone could not feel the effects of the disease for decades or possibly the rest of their life. So, while there is no cure. That does not mean there is no hope. You can improve your health to the point of not requiring medication or feel the effects of the disease. And even if you cannot, you can live with this, after a while it becomes second nature. I am insulin dependent for the rest of my life (type 1). But my life isn't altered all that much. Also if you aren't getting the help you would like from your primary care doctor. I would recommend seeing an endocrinologist and speaking with a CDE (certified diabetes educator) that he works with. They can help you get on the right meds and make the right adjustments to your daily living to minimize the effects of the disease. These people are experts at what they do.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Yes, it is possible to actually cure diabetes just be loosing weight, and conversely, it is possible to get diabetes just by gaining weight. To say that it's cured though is a bit of a misnomer, if you regain the weight that was lost the diabetes will return and it may re-emerge in later life, but you can definately improve your blood glucose, even, in some people, to the point where no treatment is necessary, by loosing weight.

You can obviously help it from progressing faster, by taking care of your self and your eating habits, but, normally, the older you get the disease, will eventually, shut down the ability of your kidneys to process sugars, and dialysis, will be the only way to keep functioning.
