Happy New Years, may this new year, bring you and yours, the best of health, love and happiness. My questions are,why is it that sometimes, people really try to help others, are looked down at.As if we were scam, artist,or what ever,on what,do you, base yourselfs on?If it is not this site or that site,it must be a scam,if you went thru,so much trouble,to just post the answer, why not post it the the web. Some of us are really new at this, have a heart.Did any of you do,your research ?If you would have, you would have found, that the site is real, the information is true and informitive to the letter.Plus, exstreamly helpful, and no strings attached, except for a jester of good will,is that not why, were are all here? Now if any of you out there, with the scam, comments, would like to explain to me, how to post what ever,i needed, posted on the web,as put by some of you, than please do,the site that i was refearing to was http://www.medtronic.com/UK/health/diabetes/therapy_options.html

I do not usually feel a hypo until I am 1.2 and then all hell breaks loose and it is a case of "Feed me NOW". However other times I can feel ravenous and wobbly but when I do a test I can be as high as 23.3!!!! How can I have such feelings when I am so high? My nurse just says to stop stuffing your face! Not very helpful!!

I thought I had hypoglycemia, but yesterday I ate over 1/2 of a cake (man was it good, too). Anyway, my blood sugar went up to 122! It normally is around the 75-95 range. I exercised really hard and then woke up drenched in sweat, a daily occurrence, and measured again and it was 95.

Keep in mind, it has dropped in the upper 60s before and I have gotten all the symptoms of hypoglycemia even when it was in the 70s. So for it to go into the 120s is unusual. Did I "sweat it off"? Why am I sweating at night and waking up with a normal sugar level?

Does this sound like I am about to get diabetes? Could the122 be b/c I ate a lot of cake? Shouldn't the exercise have lowered it right away?

I am panicking a bit if you can't tell....

She is not underweight, but slim and active. She does drink excessively and is often tired. I am just a little worried, but there is a history of juvenile diabetes in her family.
