Go to http://www.diabetic-recipes.com/recipes.htm. There are a lot of good recipes there, I mean A LOT. I have it marked in my favorites...lol. Plus you can google "diabetic recipes" and find many sites like this, that's how I found this one. I hope this helps. Good luck.
Additional: BTW, being diabetic doesn't mean cutting out the sugars completely. It means you have to eat a BALANCED diet with GOOD carbs, and more protein. You'll get the idea when you see some of these recipes. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Well, I'm in the same boat. Recently I started making some Indian foods, and found that these can be very diabetic-friendly. One website that talks about this extensively is David Mendosa's, which I'm showing below. Try some of his lentil recipes, which we make occasionally. A few of the spices might be hard to find, but most of them are in your garden-variety supermarket. Good luck, and Happy New Year.

You really do not need to do anything majorly different just of course little or no sugar, glucose, lactose - or anything with ose on the end of the word, and low salt.
Try keeping low fat too and if you decide to buy something and eat it look on the web sites for fructose/glucose content. Surprisingly oranges are among the highest fructose containing fruits you can get.
Good luck and keep trying. It is difficult, I know but with time it will get easier and become second nature.
Happy new year from a fellow sufferer!

Diabetes is NOT all about not taking in sugar.
Everything in your diet including proteins, fats, carbs have to be modified.
Consult a dietician for nutritional counseling. Your questions needs to be answered by a professional who will give you sound guidance for a variety of meals that include foods from all the food groups that will not bore you to death and will not fluctuate your blood sugar. The key is to keep your blood sugar from not spiking to dangerous highs and lows while giving your body all the necessay elements it needs to function adequately. And don't forget to exercise.
