Blurry vision is a common symptom of a relatively large change in serum glucose, either way, it is usually temporary, but when it resolves that doesn't mean that the cause has necessarily gone away.
I don't know of any link between drowsiness and either high or low sugar, except in the case of VERY high or low sugar, both of which can cause a coma.

I have had Diabetes for about 10 yrs. From MY experience. I have fairly decent BS. My A1C is 6.1 and when I get anywhere above 170 or so I get sleepy. The higher, the sleepier. If I go over 200(which is rare for me) I need to take a nap.
Blurry vision also happens temp. when my numbers are high, sometimes.
These are symptoms that can happen to some people (my roommate doesn't get sleepy, but does get blurred vision) as you can see everyone is diff.
This is part of the reson a diabetic needs to see an eye dr. for eye dialation exam once a yr.

I have type 2 diabetes and I find that when I get high sugar levels, my vision goes blurry. It s different for everyone though. You need to get yourself a blood sugar monitor machine so you can check your levels on a regular basis. You will then be able to tell by your tests whether or not your blurry vision is from high or low sugar levels. All the best for the future.

It could be either one, but most of the time its due to low sugar levels. You may be experiencing hypoglycemia. I would suggest consulting with your doctor for blood test.

May not be caused by either.Just need more sleep or less eye stress.Maybe getting older and you will not be able to focus as fast as you did when younger.Or need glasses.
