I had posted a question earlier in the week reguarding frequent urination and some boils on my skin. I was wondering if this could be the onset of diabetes? I was tested in mid-2005 for diabetes. My fasting glucose was 96 and my random test was 118. My uring anyalysis was negative. Can a 24 yr old develop diabetes un just 2 years? Im about 30 pounds overweight and excersice moderately every once in a while. Do eat a lot of carbs.

i am a 19 year old male..and well...i urinate more often than others! lets say...umm....8-9 times a day(i dont know whats normal!). the thing is...when i went to watch a movie then i had to go to the loo 4 times in a span of 2 hours! and also i read today that people with 'uncontrolled diabetes' lost interest in sex. well...its not like i have NO interest in sex but its definitely MUCH lesser than a normal male. i dont hv a partner right now so maybe thats why i dont feel like having sex!? i dont know! help please!!

before it's too late. I don't have it but friends of mine do and thery were so shocked to find out that they had it when they went for a medical check up. Surely there is cheap product on the market so that we can all check our own blood sugar levels.

I'm 23 and a type 1 diabetic. I weigh 17 stone 8 lbs and I am 5, 5" tall. To be honest I hate exercising but because of a recent family death I feel compelled to try and do something about my weight so that I don't die in the same way. The question I want some answers to is how do I keep motivated to lose weight & incorporate & enjoy exercise aswell?
