a diabetic I know was asked to do a trial drug for Macular Edema called ASI-001 Fluocinolone Acetonide?

what other treatments are available? We don't want to do a clinical research study if there is good treatment for this.

unfortunately burning with laser is probably the only best treatment for diabetic complications of the retina. I have not heard of this but the steroid nature makes sense, hope it helps and hope your patient gets better, I would refer you to big centers like mayo clinic or cleveland clinics etc, good luck
