I'm an adult (24yrs old) with Type 1 diabetes and need to find an Endocrinologist that is experienced in Type 1 diabetes and who is up to date in diabetes research.

contact the medical academy in the area. Or call the local hospital's diabetic office and speak with the diabetes educator. I live near Detroit mi and am a type 1.

If you can get in to see him, Dr. Ace Lipson is amazing. I don't know how he is in diabetes, though. Try www.diabetes.org, too, as they may have a list of doctors. They're in Virginia right next to D.C., so maybe a call to their national headquarters will help, too.
