I'm translating this question in spanish, I'm not putting it on the en espanol because I don't like the search, so here is my mothe talking.......I come from a family that has diabetes, and in today in the morning when I checked my blood the screen showed 68. Is this a problem? or is this normal?

I don't have diabetes but my family has it.

I assume you are talking about your blood glucose level. After not eating overnight, a fasting level of 68 is good. Any fasting reading over 100 is worrisome, as this may indicate pre-diabetes. 126 or higher when fasting indicates diabetes.

There different types of diabetes. If it is genetic you would most likely have it between the age 16-21. other words work out 3 times a weeks, and eat semi healthy..
