Nothing takes my thirst away, I continue to drink water and other things, but i am ALWAYS thirsty? I have also felt very worn down latley. Desperate for some feedback.I only want to go to the doctors as a last resort because i currently do not have any insurance, but it would be helpful to know if these are symptomes of a seriouse issue

I recently went for some blood work and they the lab were supposed to fill in 7 tiny bottles as i had lots of tests. To my surprise, from the right hand no blood came out. Then when they took the other hand , only 2 bottles were filled and then suddenly blood stopped and they could not fill the other bottles.Just to let you know i was on a 12 hour fasting the night before as sugar fasting test was also one of the tests.

I asked the Dr and the Lab girl about the whole epsiode and they said it was ok as it happens sometimes and they were asking me if i had any water at all but i did not have water as i was asked to fast and was not sure if i can have water or not.....Anyways i am going for the remainder of the test again with fasting but will have water this time....Pls advise if this thing was ok for the blood to not come out ...Should i be worried?????Pls let me know...

Last Friday I went to my physician and had a blood draw for testing the level of a certain medicine. I arrived after the lab that picks up blood tests left. That means that my vial of blood will be sitting in the closed clinic till Mondays' pickup which is done daily. If anybody from a lab answers, my question is, will my sample of unrefridgerated or unfrozen blood be testable or if it was refridgerated will it still be good for testing? What would be the proper procedure for a situation such as this?

My grandmother has diabetes. Her foot became infected. She had to have her little toe removed. Now it is 6 weeks later and the wound has not completely healed. It still drains(although not nearly as much as in the first three weeks after the surgery).(And of course, the doctor still wraps it in gauze once every week) She was on antibiotics for the first two weeks after the surgery, and now she still has to take pain medication. Does anyone know how long it would take for the wound to heal and for her pain to go away? (She is 68 years old)
