I wanted to make my writings available to All Diabetes around the World. I was offered $40.000 to have it Published and keep 1/3rd. I refused because it would send the cost of the Book to high for the average House Hold to buy. They're offer would bring the Book to $69.95 per Copy. I want to have it available to the Public for the taking. How Do I do this and still pay bills of $10.000 installed writing and researching the Book?

it is known that antispcyhotics sometimes cause diabetes.

Well, if the patient ALREADY has diabetes, would it be safe for them to use an antipsychotic?

How about benzodiazepines (Valium, Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin etc)? Is it safe for a diabetic to use those drugs?

Please only reply if you have knowledge of this and can help.

I'm type II. Before I ate lunch glucose was at 106. At about 1 p.m. CST I'll take my test again. I ate Campbells Healthy Choice Chicken Noodle Soup at 12:30 CST. Closest one without going over (like the Price is Right) gets a best answer. What do I do if there is a tie?

I tested my nephew who has type 2 diabetes. He ask me to test myself and I did. It read 201. As far as I know, I don't have diabetes. Also, I have not eaten in 14 hours.

Is this something to be worried about?

Hey, I am an otherwise healthy 25 year old who seems to have shaky hands. I cant hold them steady which makes doing things with them hard. Its not all the time and gets worse when I feel people are watching me. I would never be able to do bar work (which I want to do when I move) or carry cup and saucer! Know It may seem silly but what u think?

We recently moved and I can't find my book. When I'm on the treadmill, am I supposed to run for 20 minutes or 25? I'm doing the thing where you bump up the mph every minute. My workout goes something like this: 2.0, 2.0, 2.5, 2.8, 3.1, 3.4... 2.5, 2.8, 3.1 etc. 4 rounds of that and then I bump it up to 3.4 for the final burst and then back to 2.0. Should I be doing 5 rounds of this for a total of 26 minutes, or am I just doing it all wrong. Thanks in advance for your help.

My Husband was diagnosed about 8 years ago. He tested for about 18 months. (He is terrified by blood and needles) Then stopped. He is on Glyburide-Metformin 5/500.

I keep him on a well balanced diet. Low on Beef and Pork. We found out very quickly what a change that made in the triglicerides.
In general he seems good, only once (that I am aware of) did his sugar plummet, I always carry snacks.

He WILL NEVER SHARE HOW HE IS FEELING. I need input from knowledgeable diabetics as to what to watch for. Are mood swings common? He is a moody up and down person anyway. Sullen.

We are both 65 and he has carried about 20-30 extra pounds all of his life. No matter how strict the diet he never drops below 200.
So I just work on keeping the diet reasonably well balanced and scheduled.

PLEASE I NEED INPUT AND SUGGESTIONS TO IDENTIFY INTERNAL MEDICAL PROBLEMS WITH THIS CONDITION.

Thank you everyone for your input.

I was first diagnosed at 14 months old, and I have never met anyone younger, although I am sure they are out there. I was just wondering when most people were diagnosed. Thanks for sharing!

I've had my doubts about the goodness of cow's milk over the years, but after reading these articles, very little doubt remains. Especially after reading the first article:

INSULIN SHOCK: All Type 1 and Some Type 2 Diabetics experience something short of Death when in Insulin Shock. The Mental constriction is far more induced under Insulin Shock, then a NON Diabaetic could ever imagine. The comparison would detail waking up from the Dead. You don't dream, you drift. All things said and done around you are slanted and obscured by light, movement and sound. How much light would effect you, how much movement would enhance it's-self is constricted by sound and are projected and not understood. Blood Sugars must start to rise. Eating a substance high in Sugars 40mg's or higher will bring you out of Insulin Shock. At 41mg/dl, this state an Insulin shock patient lacks the ability to communicate back in an audible, understandable voice. Once a Diabetic can remember,...pronounce their name, is the Insulin Shock substained. Make sure the Insulin Shock Diabetic is able to walk and there are no signs of cuts or bruises. Check Blood Sugars 20 later to stablize Sugar.

I am asking for a friend of mine, he is a diabetic who is not well controlled nor has been for anumber of years, he smokes 20 a day. For a year or so now he has had on and off occasions when there has been no ejaculation fluid of any sort when he climaxes. Now it is just about every time he comes that there is no fluids at all, he has no pain, but obviously this is affecting him and his girlfriend
