I'm type II. Before I ate lunch glucose was at 106. At about 1 p.m. CST I'll take my test again. I ate Campbells Healthy Choice Chicken Noodle Soup at 12:30 CST. Closest one without going over (like the Price is Right) gets a best answer. What do I do if there is a tie?

I think we measure blood sugars differently here, because 7 is the norm, and I think you would be in a coma then...
So I'll guess 115 if you have taken your insulin, and 130 if you haven't.
If there is a tie, all you have to do is give me the best answer!

My dear, you're supposed to wait for 2 hours after you eat to recheck your blood sugar.
You need to contact the American Diabetic Association for literature on your diabetes.

It will double immediately,take the test after 2 hours it will be down if you are on right dosage of drug.

no fair, I don't know if you took insulin or took a long lasting earlier today or last night. Also did you eat the whole can or just half.
