what would do you do if you found out you had an STD?... How would you tell the person you love more then any thing else?... How would you tell any one?... what would you do?... if you have any answers please help me on what i should do...

My sister has told me about two episodes of severe chest pain, accompanied by breathlessness, sweating and then vomiting. As a nurse I think this sounds like classical heart attack symptoms. However, she has seen her doctor and despite all kinds of tests no heart problem has been detected. She is 58, slim, healthy and young for her age. I am very worried about this, could it be something other than a heart attack?

I don't have rosacea, and the the little red lines aren't from sun damage, they're from scratching at/picking at acne. What are some topical treatments that can diminish them? And yes, I don't pick at the zits anymore-sins of my youth.

My mom is currently undergoing treatment for her multiple myeloma cancer. She had two stem cell transpants last year and eventually went into remission. But this past September, Myeloma was spotted back in 90% of her bone marrow. She has returned to chemo and an aggressive treatment to bring it down.

As a result, she's had several complications that come with the treatments... right now her left arm has swollen up really large because of clotting. Now the doctors are saying they want to administer a streptakinase injection. In order to do such a procedure they have to use a dye-contrast , which we're afraid of using because of my mom's weakened kidneys due to having myeloma. What should we do? It's a tough decision to make... especially after hearing about all the risks. For one, streptakinase is a major blood thinner and the risks include bowel, brain or spinal bleeding, which could lead to a stroke. On top of that, the contrast can cause her weakened kidneys to fail. Help!

Umm yesturday night i suddenly got a headache, my arms and legs started aching like crazy. and i had a temperature.
Ive kinda lost my appetight. Right now im freezing i have a runny nosee. and when i go to walk i ache all over.
Soo.. does this mean i have the flu? ):

I woke up this morning and yesterday morning with dizziness and I don't know what to do to stop this. I know there is no medications for dizziness am I correct? My eyes feel heavy and I can't walk in a straight line. I am on medications with sleeping pills and I take them over 11:00 pm a lot. I am not sure if this has anything do with this. I am worried that this will happen for months. Do you know any other things that may have caused this? I wish this dizziness can stop. Can somebody help me? What do I do?

it doesn't itch and it never itched. very minor to almost no pain when pressure is put on it. doesn't bother me at all. it's been there for almost 4 days.

I am doing research for a friend who's child has stage IV Neuroblastoma. He is certainly undergoing chemotherapy at this time, and will have stem cell treatment in the in the near future. Nevertheless, this type of cancer has a poor long term prognosis. I am looking into every possible treatment, without harming him in ANY way.

My 16 yr old son has quite a bad chest infection, and the doc has put him on anti biotics. He is having trouble sleeping (although he is really tired) as when he drops off, his breathing becomes heavier and the pain of the breathing wakes him up. Any suggestions? I can't give him hot milk because of the medication he is on.

A doctor found malignant tumors on my father's kidney and lymphnodes in scans and later took tissue samples. The biopsy results came back today and it turns out that he has neither renal cancer nor lymphoma and they are taking more samples to try to figure it out. What other types of cancer could this be? He has NO outward symptoms besides back pains (that's why he went in for scans... he thought it was a pinched nerve). I know that we will find out from the professionals in the next few weeks, but the waiting until then is wretched!

My girl friend gets cold sores once or twice a year during the winter which has led us to believe that she has oral herpes. We've been dating and kissing for over a year and I have never gotten a cold sore or shown signs of it. However about a month ago I got a weird canker type sore on the inside of my bottom lip that really hurt. I'm pretty sure I've had canker sores before and this was something different. It was about the size of a small bead and it was white and inflamed. It went away after about 5 days and I haven't had one since. I've heard many different opinions on whether you can get cold sores inside your mouth. Could this have been a cold sore? I would like to find out before considering oral sex with my girlfriend because I would not like her to get genital herpes.
